The MCSSA has previously allowed any USSSA or USA/ASA bats to be allowed during league play.  While we are a senior league, we do not allow senior bats due to player safety. 

 

Starting in the 2026 season, the MCSSA will officially adopt the USSSA 240 Bat Standard for league play.  That means your bat will need to have the New 240 stamp pictured above.  In 2025, the WSL moved to only allow 240 stamped bats so any WSL tournaments you play in will no longer allow 220 bats.  We realize this move to 240 bats will force a lot of our players to have to buy new equipment, which is why we are giving this notice a year prior to adopting the new bat standard.
